LESSON

Capitalise:

  • names of people, pets, and places.
    eg
    Doctor Hamish Jones is our neighbour.  He has a cat called Figgy.

  • the word I.
    eg My cousin and
    I share the same birthday.

  • the first word in a sentence.
    eg
     This is a good idea.

  • the first word of a direct quotation.
    eg
    Kiri said, “You can have a turn now.”
